A Collingwood and area homeowner for more than 20 years, Mardy is married and has one daughter attending McMaster University. Mardy grew up in nearby Meaford, and she has loved our "little piece" of Georgian Bay all her life. Mardy has an honours B.A. degree in English and Journalism, graduating in 1982 from the University of Toronto and in 1983 from Sheridan College. Following graduation, she worked for the National Captioning Centre for eight years as an Editor and then Program Manager.

Licensed since 1994, Mardy has developed and established a large and trusted rental business in addition to a successful career in real estate sales.
